Sector Mechanicus - Warhammer 40,000 wargaming scenery sets from Games Workshop and Citadel Miniatures

Tectonic Fragdrill

From Warhammer: It is common for a Genestealer Cult to thrive on industrial worlds. When the cult rises up to overthrow its oppressors, they employ all manner of improvised industrial equipment from their arsenal. Among the largest and most impressive of these is the Tectonic Fragdrill, a huge piece of mining gear often found in a Sector Mechanicus that can cause targeted earthquakes.

The Tectonic Fragdrill is a massive scenery piece particular to the Genestealer Cults. You can use the gigantic drill in a variety of ways in your games. It allows units to be removed from the table and redeployed closer to the enemy, and its immense power can also be harnessed to cause tremors that slow down nearby units, or a mighty quake that can split the earth in a straight line across the battlefield, causing mortal wounds to units in its path. The Tectonic Fragdrill is designed to fit in with the range of Sector Mechanicus scenery, and boasts many of the same design features and components. The rails included with it are also compatible with the Galvanic Servohauler kit.

This plastic kit consists of 63 components, including walkways, legs, a floor, chimneys and the drill itself. The datasheet for the Tectonic Fragdrill can be found in Codex: Genestealer Cults, as well as in the included construction guide.

Ferratonic Incinerator

From Warhammer: Made up of a cylindrical structure – the Incinerator itself – with a set of 4 industrial walkways and a central platform, the Ferratonic Incinerator provides an excellent, massively configurable platform for your miniatures to battle over. The Incinerator, covered in detailed pipework, valves and Mechanicus symbols, can be used as a central pillar with the walkways and their sidewalls clipped in place wherever you like using the plug-in holes. Included are 4 ladders and a set of legs – the walkways can be constructed above each other, and used to connect multiple Sector Mechanicus scenery pieces together. 3 different small cranes and winches are in the kit, and every single piece is replete with details, from information displays and pressure control valves to vents, fans and Adeptus Mechanicus maker’s plates. Rules are included for using this scenery piece in games of Warhammer 40,000.

Promethium Forge

From Warhammer: A large collection of walkways, pipes, platforms and equipment, the Promethium Forge is a splendid scenery set that provides a great terrain piece for your miniatures to battle over. Featuring a central tank, with a huge, detailed chimney, the kit features a number of walkways and platforms that can be assembled around the Forge in a whole load of different configurations, clipping into place with the plug-in holes. Each piece of the kit is covered in incredible detail, with pipes beneath the walkways, valves, displays and fans covering every surface and ladders allowing you to build multi-level structures. Of particular note is the huge, skull-shaped winching mechanism which can hang under whichever walkway you choose. Rules are included for using this scenery piece in games of Warhammer 40,000.
