Sonic Mania released yesterday with Denuvo DRM, the always online anti-tampering software that is reported as having significant impact on game performance. Sonic also had an issue of being unable to be played in offline mode due to the presence of the DRM software. As a result of the presence of Denuvo, some Gamers have sought refunds only to find themselves unable to do so due to Sonic One being packaged with the pre order version of the game.
