Konami were quite prolific in the 16-Bit era. Some of their 16-Bit releases felt like they were competing with themselves for the best version (Tiny Toon Adventures, Contra, Castlevania, Sparkster, etc). Konami was arguably punch for punch near the top of the era on all three consoles (if we are counting Japan’s PC Engine). It is odd that they never ported Rondo of Blood to the Sega Genesis but did a version for the Super Nintendo. A fan is fixing this oversight though.
