For farming in general, you'll want the following tools for maximum efficiency:

* Golden Vortex: Double drops, obvs.
* Ceremonial Tanto: More emblems, also obvs
* Bloodsmoke, Gachiin: Stealth makes things much smoother and safer. Bloodsmoke gives you more insurance when farming Lone Shadows and Gun Fort, and Gachiin invis comes in handy when farming the greater part of Mibu Manor to stay safe from nobles and their old age debuff.

Ashina Castle after gathering all three ritual ingredients and before defeating Divine Dragon is my favorite version of the castle to farm. You get a lot more return on sen, scrap iron, and scrap magnetite, and plenty of rolls for Divine Confetti, while losing only two Confetti rolls that are slow to farm anyway. Procedure:

1. Run downstairs and fan + backstab the two Fencers. It can sometimes be more consistent to wait for them to aggro before you fan them, to definitively break aggro and confuse them.

2. Fan the Fencer and Soldier in the next room. You can kite them into the free-for-all if you want but I find it easier to manipulate the fights if I kill them here.

3. Aggro the two Lone Shadows and two Fencers in the main room and get them to fight each other. Hit all of them with fan at least once for their drops.

4. One more Fencer around the corner near the Antechamber idol and then it's just backtracking to pick off the survivors.

5. You can reset and loop the run here, or, you can hit up two more Lone Shadows for drops: One down the hidden hallway, and one in the boss room (assuming you've defeated the boss, which I didn't on this file/NG+ cycle).
