Self Destruct Infinitely in The Revenge of Shinobi (Sega Genesis) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
2,500In The Revenge of Shinobi for Sega Genesis, there's a way to use the Jitsu of Mijin infinitely, which is normally not possible because it's like a self-destruct kinda thing.
Usually when you use the Jitsu of Mijin ability, you sacrifice one of your lives to explode, dealing massive damage to all targets on screen. Afterward, you are restored to full health and you can use one more magical ability.
Using the Jitsu of Mijin normally results in a game over when you have zero lives left, but there's a crazy glitch you can exploit to use it over and over.
First make sure you have zero lives. Then, when you defeat the boss of level 1 (or any level probably) use the Jitsu of Mijin ability so that your character begins to explode right as the screen fades to the Level Clear screen. You should see your dude begin to crack just as the screen transitions.
Now when the points tally up, you need to NOT gain an extra life.
When you start the next level, use the Jitsu of Mijin power. If you did everything right, your lives total will change from 0 to 9. You don't actually have 9 lives here. In fact, you have 0, so if you die, you will get a game over. But! For some reason, you can use Mijin all you want now, so go to town exploding on some dudes, and don't take that out of context!
Not sure how practical this glitch is, but it's definitely fun.
