The Infinite Magic Glitch in Golden Axe II (Sega Genesis) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
6,400In Golden Axe II for the Sega Genesis, there's a super easy trick you can perform to give yourself infinite magic points by the beginning of level 2.
Just before the battle begins against the level 1 boss, you'll notice that your character will freeze while the music transitions. Press and hold the Magic Button (A button by default) and hold it for the entirety of the boss battle.
Alternatively, you can hold the Magic Button down after selecting your character at the game start, and keep it held through the first level.
After defeating the boss, keep the Magic Button held down for the duration of the mini-game with the wizards while you stand in place.
Then, during the level transition, press Start to skip the narrative, and then finally let go of the Magic Button. At the beginning of level 2, your character will immediately use a Magic ability. But afterward, you will notice that you now have an absurd amount of Magic points.
Be careful now, because sometimes charging your Magic Attack up too high will cause the game to crash. But if you're cautious, you can pretty much use all the magic you want for the remainder of the game.
Sometimes you can even use magic attacks that are exclusive to other characters! Also, this trick can work on other levels besides the first, I believe.
