Serious Sam 2 E3 2005 Alpha Mod VIDOC #9
So with one exam over, I've decided to take a break day, and work on the mod for a bit longer. This time I'll be posting a bunch of videos regarding the level design changes I did.
Starting off with Mental Institution:
- Believe it or not, originally this level was supposed to have a sunset atmosphere, where it looks as if a big battle happened at siriuspolis downtown and those arenas, Sam is ready to finish his fight.
- This can still be seen on the level loading image, before the level starts, the closest skybox it reminds you off is the one you see in the Arenas, prior to this level.
Changelog:
- Adjusted position of barriers
- Changed the skybox and sun direction
- Ambient Dir. light and Haze changed (orange)
- Added extra scenery (trees, water, benches..etc)
- Activate/Deactivate animations fixed on weapons
- Font (DualWield) is now using a proper size and width aspect
- UZI anim duration and speed changed to match the alpha (rapid)
- Changed Sniper Rifle reticle to purple (to match classics)
- Added a hand on SS Bomb to make it seem like Sam's actually holding it
- Probably more stuff... can't remember it all ayy.
