Hi all, Dave here! Welcome to the sixth part of what will be a 7 or 8 part series of videos. In this series I'll be joined by the ever awesome Rev N Fidel, and we'll be discussing our thoughts on John Gray's book Seven Types of Atheism. Each week we'll be discussing one of the chapters where Gray writes about particular kinds of practical atheism. What do I mean by that? Well, you'll have to watch the video as I explain it in the video.
In this episode we will focus on Gray's chapter on atheism without progress. With the chapter focusing on philosopher George Santayana, and writer Joseph Conrad. In this video Rev and I discuss what we like and dislike about Gray's thoughts, some of the points that connected with us, and how we see the points relating to atheists like ourselves and others. Along with trying our best to break Gray's ideas down a little.
