I've been really racking my brain for how to make fighting game videos for a long time. I didn't want to just show matches with commentary. Many better players do that. And tutorials and guides are also super saturated. I wanted to make something unique, and this is what I came up with. Hope it turned out okay.

I didn't want it to be this long. I really wanted something under 30 minutes. But to properly show a good amount of progression, I think it was necessary. Hopefully it was engaging enough to not feel like a slog. I ended up cutting out a lot just to get it down to what it is.

I know I use a lot of inside-baseball terminology in this video, and if you don't know anything about fighters you may feel in the dark. But I didn't want to talk about those kinds of fundamentals here. The video's long enough as it is lol.

All these matches come from a few sessions of several hours each. I really had to sift through the footage to find good examples of my growth. Took a while, but I think it was worth it.

And I know I probably pronounced Manon's name wrong. I'm not French. I did my best. And sorry for how repetitive the commentary gets. It's what happens when you make videos unscripted. I really gotta work on that.
