Xbox One owners, if you can't wait, there is the original version which has some useful speed run related glitches.
The speed run itself, what has changed?
Well, a few key timesavers that were previously possible in the original Xbox 360 version have been fixed including:
* No storage device related glitches
Both intro skip and "save warping" no longer works.
This means it's not possible to escape the important trap room HQ without using both missiles and mega bridge switch.
* Corner Warping
That big skip I use to enter the trap room from the area Claire gets kidnapped is gone as the glitchy fall part no longer works.
* RT+B nuke turrets trick
Firing and gaining control during the launch cutscene no longer works.
It's not all that bad, 100% runs may miss corner warping but a change to how the initial secondary weapon cutscene triggers works means that I can get early Foam/Missiles and still be able to pick up the "cutscene" weapon much later on and still get 100% item completion.
New Game Plus because I can use the best gun very early on and use infinite foam.
