So Shadowlands got delayed, but when does it actually come out? And what does Blizzard need to work on? In this video I talk about the new potential release date candidates, when it could launch, and what blizzard needs to do before Shadowlands releases! Delaying the launch of Shadowlands is a very good thing for Blizzard to do as the game itself was obviously not in a healthy enough state to be released. It was not ready. Several things needed to be worked on, and I'll mention some things further down in the description that needs to be worked on based on my testing in the Shadowlands Beta. In this video I also talk about a potential new Shadowlands release date, and give my guess as to when it will come out. Until then I guess we have to do our best to enjoy the shadowlands pre-patch, which comes out October 13th! For those of you interested in goldmaking, this is an excellent time and opportunity to level up new alts and set up garrisons for passive goldmaking.

Here are some things Blizzard need to work on before releasing Shadowlands (in no particular order).
- Shadowlands' first raid, Castle Nathria. Several boss fights, especially the healing boss fight within the raid, obviously didn't go as Blizzard planned, and they tested it several times with no real success.
- Shadowlands Covenant Abilities are way too strong for certain classes and contribute up to 50% of some classes damage in certain boss fights. That's ONLY the covenant abilities.
- Shadowlands Covenants in general needs to be fine-tuned aswell based on the traits you obtain, the baseline ability and class-abilities within the covenants needs to be adjusted. Personally I think Blizzard should just pull the ripcord and make the abilities streamlined so you can choose whatever ability you want. Covenants are a fantastic idea, but personally I don't think they should increase your performance since Blizzard is trying to make it a "meaningful" choice. Maybe give covenants access to more lucrative covenant-specific world quests with different rewards, give them more lucrative transmog, more unique mounts, or introduce something entirely new (cosmetic) connected to covenants.
- Shadowlands class abilities are broken, some don't work at all, others are way undertuned.
- Conduits are still in an awkward state concidering the 7-day cooldown on switching conduits.
- World Quests still feel weird, especially "fill-the-bar" world quests.
- Level Restriction for zones are awkward since you can finish the main story within a zone, but not be high enough level to access the next zone, and then you have to go back and find side-quests and tie up loose ends, which feels bad.
- Goldmaking needs more variation.
