I wasn't on board with the Mammoth or Budding Initiate in my deck so far. It was really hard to get it into my mind that the Mammoth does have the extra reach that I was missing in certain matchups. Since I was so focused on competing for the board with chip damage I left myself open to losing to both top decks of the format - Portal and Blood.

Budding Initiate I wasn't really ontop of, I thought the Felpurr was just a better draw with rush. Bane does come in handy. Getting another copy of Budding or Verdant can get you to those 2+ evo turns when you have a Mammoth in hand. I always thought that Mammoth was a brick, and it kind of is. So I play two, but there's just so much evo in the Alice deck. I think it's an interesting kind of compromise.
