Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time is an iconic 1991 arcade beat 'em up developed and published by Konami. As the acclaimed sequel to the original TMNT arcade hit, it cemented its place as a classic retro game. The plot sees Shredder and Krang steal the Statue of Liberty and send the Ninja Turtles, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael, on a time-traveling adventure to retrieve it.

The game is famous for its four-player simultaneous co-op gameplay and vibrant cartoon inspired graphics. Its tight controls and innovative combat, including the memorable "throw enemy into the screen" move, made it an arcade standout. Players battle through historical eras, from the prehistoric age to a futuristic star base, taking on the Foot Clan and other villains. It was later ported to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), though with notable differences, making the original arcade version a cherished collectible and a staple of 90s gaming.
