He’s back, looking little younger than earlier games, and something also has happened to Watson’s appearance. But even with the changes it is still the same good old Sherlock Holmes.
Holmes is dying in boredom when suddenly a young boy appears to his door. Boy’s father is missing, and Holmes decides to investigate what happened to poor boy’s father. He uncovers more disappearances of poorer inhabitants of London and only thing connecting them is ‘special jobs’ and special education.
So begins Sherlock Holmes: Devil’s Daughter which was released in 2016 for PC. Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Game is also available for Switch, released 2022. Eighth instalment in the series, Devil’s Daughter gameplay is similar to Crimes & Punishments with deductions that can lead different outcomes. Like Crimes & Punishments Devil’s Daughter consist different cases, five overall. Game can be played either first- or third-person view.
