The first case of Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, played blind on the hardest difficulty. People are going missing from Whitechapel so Holmes investigates.
This came out in 2016 and is the eighth game in Frogwares' Sherlock Holmes series. I've played most of them and enjoy them. They're low budget and rough around the edges but they have charm and are good if you like solving detective mysteries and puzzles. There are also action sequences mixed in with the sleuthing, e.g. stealth and QTE parts.
Like the previous game, Crimes & Punishments, it's possible to accuse innocent suspects and send them to the gallows, so you have to be on the ball with your deduction skills. The game won't say if you got it right until you close the case, and even then you have to quit the game to see. Sometimes the criminals admit they did it once accused, but not always.
This playthrough is completely blind with no sections skipped, I won't spoil if I accuse the right culprits, but you'll see at the end of the game how well I did. It's also a platinum run with all trophies earned, the plat can still be earned regardless of how well you did in the investigations.
