In Let's play Savage Lands season 2 episode 15, we check out the many additions of Savage Lands update 32.

Shields are finally in Savage Lands now: They come in various tiers, starting with a fairly useless wooden shield, then going up the same tiers as weapons, including tin and steel shields.

Savage Lands shields are placed in the off-hand and can be used to block 80% of damage from attacks. They can't be used when you're holding a two-handed weapon.

Chilkoot the Devourer is a new mob that hunts at night in the Wildwoods. It's a boss-sized wolf that drops a pelt that's used in crafting some special armour.

Horns have finally been added to the game as a drop from Eks (forest gremlins) - we see how the drop rate means you might be farming them a while! Horns are used in certain helmet armours.

Also in this let's play Savage Lands episode, we see how new portals link the main island with the dragon island Jormungahr. At the moment it's said that killing all four forest giants (Eldar/Grot/Ket/Thuum) will earn you four souls, each unlocking a portal to a dungeon where you'll find skulls that activate the dragon island portal.

We also take a look at the ruined fortress on Jormungahr where the dragon-summoning gong from the alpha has been added.

Finally, we find the Eldar forest giant and take him on, which lasts around 3 seconds...
