Inspired by The Hunger Games, Battle Royale and The Future in General, The Culling gameplay sets 16 players on an island and makes them kill each other. Last man standing wins!
The Culling gameplay emphasises resourcefulness. You can craft weapons out of basic materials such as stone and wood, but you can scavenge game supplies from buildings and other places too.
Other The Culling gameplay elements include airdrops, perks and rewards that allow you, at the very least, to dress more snazzily for the next game round.
Combat is a big part of The Culling gameplay - you can melee, use ranged weapons such as bows and guns, block attacks, shove people to disarm them and more. Gameplay events will sometimes happen in-game too - crates will drop in one location and only the smartest player will get their reward in the Culling.
This let's play The Culling gameplay video is of the closed alpha in February 2016 and does not represent final quality. The game goes onto Steam Early Access on the 8th March.
