Our let's play 5089 gameplay series continues with episode 5, in which we finally get to use our stockpile of base converter and expander chips to take over enemy bases.
Converting enemy bases is not the easiest thing to get to grips with in 5089 gameplay, and is only really possible once you have made your robot very strong. We see how to convert bases using both kinds of chip - base converter and base expander - and the benefits of doing so.
For this let's play 5089 video we have completed many quests to get our skill points up to around 100 on the major skills, so we're good to take on areas of level 10 difficulty. We have a level 6 energy rifle, plus level 5 armour.
Also in this 5089 converting bases episode we take on a couple of red-cross bosses to advance the ongoing story of the new Master. This grants us more access to the hatches, where we finally meet the Master and talk to it for the first time. We find out some juicy 5089 lore and exactly what the Master wants!
Oh, and we meet UFOs for the first time. GREAT.
