I'm somewhat familiar with this game;
Over the years, I may have picked it up but I usually never finish the playthrough...
I usually stop at round 7 (45:27)...

These green orbs (49:14) can be destroyed with your shuriken (49:15)...
this information would of been helpful at that start of the level...

This section requires a running jump (54:59 and 55:09)


Shinobi be sporting these new tricks;
- running (1:36)
(forward + forward and continue to hold to maintain momentum)
- running sword slash (1:37)
(while running + B (attack button))
- dive kick (2:13)
(while airborne down + B (attack button))
- blocking (27:56)
(press and hold B (attack button))

key points;

- emphasis on execution
(round 6-1 (38:04), round 7-1 (45:39) and round 7-2 (50:46) come to mind)
- game is more then generous with the following;
(health, usually always before boss or mini-boss)
(power up (sword power up/deal extra damage))
(no damage scaling based on difficulty?)
- sometimes rules are a tad confusing;
(what you can block)
(what a shuriken can destory/projectile cancel)
