Shinobi was another classic arcade game made by Sega during the 1980's and was ported to a wide range of platforms.

The objective of the game is to rescue the Ninjitsu students in each stage and to kill a boss at the end of each level. After each level, there's a bonus a stage where you must kill all the ninja before they can reach you...but I'm pretty sure anyone reading this already knows what Shinobi is!

The C64 version is actually very good. The graphics are great and the sound is functional, although it's a shame there's no in-game music. They even managed to get the shuriken-throwing bonus stage right!
