I wanted to do a breakdown for people asking if it is worth their time to become a commentator, and how much $ i make. I think a couple notes i forgot to mention here:
If you are in it for FUN, then enjoy! video games can hardly seem like a "job" but it can be painful to get gameplays if you know you need to get good ones for your channel, it can be stressful! but if you enjoy it and you can potentially make $ off of a hobby, then more power to you!

All businesses usually lose money in the first 5 years they are started, so dont let it discourage you to becoming a commentator if you are not in it for the money!

It takes time to grow a channel, i have other vids with tips on that.

Software Hardware (imovie, Sony Vegas, Eyetv)

Computer PC or Mac
Headphones
Dont forget about the amount of money it costs you to be playing games. time away from real work.
