In this VOD, we rip and tear through Levels 5 and 6 of DOOM: The Dark Ages—the Siege of the Fortress of Doom Slayer™. Despite doing our damnedest on Nightmare Mode (read: dying heroically and often), a random Hell Titan decides to speedrun siege warfare by yeeting a Slayer-class Atlan Mech directly into our shield wall. Efficiency.
On the plus side:
We finally meet King Novik, who pulls a clever little MacGuffin shell game with the Heart of Argent. Good royal instincts.
The Heart of Argent—as in, the soul of the Last Wraith in necklace form—has been successfully hidden. For now.
There’s also a mysterious witch, some whispered lore about Hell Prince Ahzrak (or Azhrak? Azzroc? We'll workshop it), and vague hints that this whole war might be more than just demons being demons.
