In this VOD, I return to Shadow of the Erdtree with a noble goal: hunt down some easy-access Scadutree Fragments to boost my survivability.
Turns out… I already picked them all up in previous sessions. Great.

Progress still happened—just mostly sideways:

Slayed the Ancient Dragon-Man in the Dragon’s Pit and claimed his glorious Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana

Unlocked the Jagged Peaks, promptly got obliterated by Ancient Dragon Senessax, and chose discretion (Torrent) over valor

Explored Taylew’s Ruined Forge, a brutal furnace full of molten slime monsters, Golem Smiths with a tiny red weak point, and a bunch of Smithscript gear

Found the Axe, Greathammer, and Shield variants

Walked out with Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones and Taylew’s Spirit Ashes

Backtracked my memory and earlier progress through the Ruined Forge Lava Intake, where I had previously discovered the Smithscript Dagger—the boomerang blade that never stops being fun

Also, for good measure: killed a massive red bear named Ralva, earned her pelt-helmet, and questioned my life choices

All in all, a solid session of wandering, discovering, dying, and making just enough progress to pretend I have a plan.
