I've felt like doing some simpler mechanics glitching projects lately, so I revisited (and still plan to revisit) classic survival horror games.

Silent Hill 3 has solid mechanics without all that many glitches or oddities. However, I did find two things that are probably new and might be worth showing.

0:00 - first quirk: you can move while doing a 180 degree turn by quickly pressing 'aim' during the turn. This makes doing 180 degree turns a little faster, and probably saves a few seconds in a speedrun too.

0:09 - second quirk: you can glitch up Heather's legs during some attacks.

First, you need an attack during which you can keep walking. While doing the attack, let go of 'aim', press forward or backwards, and after that exactly left or right to start a glitched turning animation. Normally it isn't possible to turn during attacks, but this way it is... and the results are simultaneously impressive and unimpressive.

Heather slides around because her legs don't participate in the animation at all. She also keeps moving forward during the turn, which is not normal.

0:37 - of course I got to try out this new attack technique on live enemies as well!

1:16 - another small thing to note: the properties of a glitched attack are a bit different from normal, and you can interrupt it with a 180 degree turn.
