🔥 Silent Hill f – RTX 5070 Ti | FPS Test & Performance Benchmark | First Launch | DLSS 4 Preset K Transformer | DLAA | 1440p | Unreal Engine 5 | Max Settings | Ray Tracing | Frame Generation

Silent Hill f is built on Unreal Engine 5. In my test, I focused on the first launch rather than different graphics presets, because I believe that’s more important - and it helped me uncover some issues I’ll explain below.
Fps in Silent Hill f is generally high: even in the most demanding areas it never drops below 60 at max settings with DLAA and 1440p, unlike some other UE5 games.
DLAA can’t be selected directly in the graphics menu - I used Nvidia Profile Inspector to manually enable DLAA and set the K Transformer preset.
Now, about the problems:
1) There are traversal stutters, typical for most Unreal Engine games, though this isn’t the biggest issue.
2) Cutscenes are locked to 30 fps.
3) The game has shader precompilation, but it’s far from complete. Because of that, you’ll still encounter stutters and even short freezes (e.g., at 2:31), which can hurt the gameplay experience.
The only real fix for this depends entirely on the developers - they need to implement a more complete shader precompilation. Currently, the initial shader compilation is very fast (about 10–20 seconds on a Ryzen 7 7800X3D), but it doesn’t cover everything.
