Silent Hill : The Short Message - Ps5 Gameplay
0So right of the bat I’m gonna say this game shouldn’t be played by anyone under 18 or anyone that is sensitive to topics such as suicide, depression, self harm, social media bullying, peer pressure or anything like that because honestly that’s exactly what this game is. It is a very bleak, dark, depressing, moody game.
Now that’s out of the way we can talk about the actual game…
It looks absolutely beautiful, you go from gameplay to cutscenes with real actors and it’s so close to looking the same, movement is very smooth and the setting to this game (abandoned flats known to be suicide hotspots) are as creepy as a setting at you’ll play. The graffiti on the wall, the colours all make this seem as realistic as possible.
Plot wise I won’t say too much because it’s only short (I finished it in under 2 hours) but safe to say there are a few chases that had me terrified. Anywhere you go you just do not feel safe and feel that at any minute you will be attacked.

A three is the best I can give this because at the end of the day it’s not a complete game it’s a tester really and a sample given out so when the silent hill 2 remake drops people will rush out to get it off the back of this. No real reply ability either BUT in saying that i did enjoy playing it even though its subject matter is very dark.
