In the 2nd Episode, Guybrush gathers a few of the necessary tools he'll need to begin upon the three trials, and gets to know a few of the inhabitants of the town of Melee, including the shopkeeper and the mysterious Sheriff of Melee Island, Fester Shinetop.
The Secret of Monkey Island is a "point 'n click" adventure game released originally in 1990 by Lucasarts, created by Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman. The game was re-released in 2009 with updated graphics, audio & newly recorded voice acting, but though the option to play with the original pixel art was available, the new audio only available when playing with the updated graphics. The "Ultimate Talkie Edition" is a mod that combines the audio of Secret of Monkey Island SE with the graphics of the original.
