Guybrush finishes his swordfighting lesson with Captain Smirk and sets out onto the night time roads of Melee Island to battle with wandering hostile pirates in a rousing training montage of insult sword fighting! A mainstay of the Monkey Island series. In the interest of time, waiting for fights to begin & dialogue selection has been truncated, and only the scathing bon mots and clashing blades remain.
The Secret of Monkey Island is a "point 'n click" adventure game released originally in 1990 by Lucasarts, created by Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman. The game was re-released in 2009 with updated graphics, audio & newly recorded voice acting, but though the option to play with the original pixel art was available, the new audio only available when playing with the updated graphics. The "Ultimate Talkie Edition" is a mod that combines the audio of Secret of Monkey Island SE with the graphics of the original.
