How does the Pleasant family manage to crash two computers in one day?!

As with most electronics or appliances in the Sims, they can eventually break down. The computer is one of those objects, and unlike the TV, there isn't any risk of electrocution when Sims don't have any mechanical skill points. Though if you want to fix it faster and not have your Sims gripe, you can build up their mechanical skills. You can also call the repairman or get the Servo or Skeleton Maid to fix it.
