A review that was obviously coming, here are my totally muddled and barely collected thoughts on Disco Elysium, a wonderful, magnificent game that I thoroughly enjoyed even though I initially didn't take to it. So come along for my thoughts on why this game works, how it related to two of my favourite pieces of media, Baldur's Gate and Bojack Horseman. As well as how it relates to the entire tabletop RPG genre and how this game made me reflect on myself, my own beliefs and really struck a chord with me. All in all I'd say it was a brilliant game, but it made constructing 0.00001% of communism very daunting, which is probably right.
