The finest RPG on the Dreamcast and one of the top ten RPGs ever made, Skies of Arcadia follows the adventure of Sky Pirates Vyse, Aika two of the Blue Rogues. Who after rescuing a women known as Fina find themselves on an adventure of a lifetime.

Skies of Arcadia does everything just right, well apart from having one too many random battles. A huge game with both land and ship combat, packed with extras and will takes months to finish. Add to that great characters and a highly gripping story and it just doesn't put a foot wrong. The later Gamecube release did include some extra content, but the soundtrack took a quality knock and that version doesn't support VGA. The game and much of its visual design is clearly heavily inspired by the Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki film Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
