SoulStar - Mega CD - Intro and Mission 1 Gameplay [720p 60fps]
Core Design once again showing off the power of the Mega CD and Mega Drive with just one of their most own games on the system. SoulStar is the closet thing to Starfox / Starwing game on a Sega system it plays a lot like the cancelled Starfox 2 on SNES. The sprite scaling effects are stunning and give this 2D game a real 3D feel. An action packed shooter it's not entirely without flaws as trying to hit enemies is trickiMer than it looks. Great early example of a Sci-Fi CD soundtrack as well.

Captured directly from a European Sega Mega Drive at 50hz using an RGB Scart connected via a scart upscaler in order for it to work with an Elgato Game Capture HD, note the background hum is due to a design flaw of the Mega Drive hardware, only very late model 2 unit totally remove this issue.
