For a very long time, we had been teased about Skull and Bones as a part of an expansion for Assassins creed Black Flag but in E3 2017 reveal, we had seen that skull and bones made a tangent in another way and became an independent project under Ubisoft Singapore. The pirate game is said to be under rigorous development and the developers haven't cancelled the game in any manner, and recently from a magazine site source, Kotaku, the Ubisoft spokesperson had elaborated about Skull and Bones' development cycle, hurdles and how the game was almost cancelled at a stage when fans started demanding the game after even E3 2018 happened. The source now also confirms that not only Skull and Bones on track, but also the game is under massive revamp from the last time we had seen, and now its alpha test is happening soon , meaning the game is targeting a release window between April 1 2022- March 31 2023, which was also discussed in the Ubisoft Conference call in May 2021. We just hope the alpha test comes sooner and an official statement be also released from Ubisoft regarding this. For more on such updates,
