Played for La Calice Cup on November 1, 2019.

We who had been exploring a wild jungle were attacked by a misterious troop which suddenly appeared. It was Blue Mist, and underground organization led by Colonel Claud, an evil generalissimo.

And thus starts the adventure in the sky.

An underrated classic we discovered thanks to this tournament. This game has a scoring system that goes beyond just surviving for as long as possible, which is surprisingly rare for games in this era. The scoring in this game mostly revolves around destructible bullets. Killing enemies and destroying bullets only gives a few points (plus a time bonus for speedkilling bosses which only gives 100-200 points), making this one of the lowest scoring shmups ever made. The world record is only 11,504, which was actually set for this tournament less than 24 hours before I did this run.
