This is my first demix on the PC-Engine, which has one of the best soundchips of the 8-bit era. 6 channels, all with full wavetable synthesis (with more resolution than the GameBoy); 2 of those can be used as noise channels; full stereo control; and even sample replay like in the NES. Ah, and it can also do FM synthesis, which I still have to dabble with. It's seriously amazing.

I'm still trying to learn some of the more intricate details, but for a first experiment, it sounds really good :D I love this song, but it just didn't sound right on the GameBoy.
