My first time skydiving and I got to do it from 15,000 feet and with the amazing views of where I grew up. What a great way to get the day started! This was an amazing experience. Being first on the plane I was obviously last out the door. As we started our incline to 15,000 feet I could start to feel my chest getting a little tighter. I hadn't really felt nervous up until the point we were over looking the Space Center. There was something about being up above the clouds looking out the window of this perfectly good airplane I was about to jump out of. As Rodrigo tightening our harness and told me to put on my googles I knew there was no turning back. My heart was pounding and I was finding it hard to inhale as we inched closer and closer to the tiny exit. Then just like that we jumped and I knew at that moment that there will be many more jumps in my future.
The excitement of jumping out into nothing, words can not describe. The perfect skies, the chill in the air, flying by clouds as you quickly reach speeds in excess of 120mph, the stillness you feel when the shoot opens and the breathtaking views you're left to enjoy as you descend to the ground all combine together to equal one big ball of HAPPINESS!
