Raven Rock Mine is a mine located in the settlement of Raven Rock.
The first room includes a grindstone and an East Empire Company strongbox up some stairs and a lot of pickaxes. Going down the stairs, be careful not to fall into the enormous pit beneath you. However, there is nothing of interest in the path leading to the bottom. It's possible to execute a series of shorter falls to reach the bottom safely. The key to the mine is needed to continue further. Just before the locked gate, however, is an East Empire Company strongbox with valuable loot, including an East Empire pendant. The path is fairly linear; rock gives way to knee-high water and then becomes a Nordic ruin. In a bowl near a rare well-lit area is a potion of ultimate healing and a new potion of waterwalking. Another waterwalking potion is further along on a shelf by an alchemy lab, as well as miscellaneous other goods and a deposit of stalhrim. The lightning trap a little farther along is very strong. Just past it is a multi-level room with a waterfall, which has another potion of waterwalking, as well as an expert-locked chest, underneath an arcane enchanter.
From here, the path splits. There's an apprentice-locked door behind the waterfall leading to Bloodskal Barrow on the bottom level. This leads to a room which is otherwise inaccessible, and contains one stalhrim deposit. There's also a lever-activated gate on the upper level. Past the gate is a room with a copy of the Ice Spike spell tome on a pedestal to the left, and a staircase to the right leading to another lightning trap. Activate the chain just behind it to find a hidden chest. Continue along the path and through a door, which leads to a poison dart trap with a pressure plate trigger. The door at the top of the stairs leads to an Adept-locked chest. The path forward is actually through a passage through one of the sarcophagi along the wall.
The narrow path leads to large room with a waterfall. Follow the water until it ends to find a chest. The only way out of this room is by solving(?) the puzzle of the door with the strange runes. On the other side are a series of swinging axe traps. Past them is a lever-activated gate. Beyond it is a large room with a pool of water and a large chest, as well as a word for the Dragon Aspect shout. The large chest doesn't hold much; the real loot-filled chest is past another lever-activated gate in the next room. Also in this room is a staircase, at the top of which is another door to Blodskal Barrow. Before that, however, on a pedestal, is the Black Book The Winds of Change.
