This is video #009 in my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on the PlayStation 4. I am playing the game vanilla. This game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. This video does not contain commentary.

Previously, Davilas coninued questing in Whiterun. He picked up the quests "Missing in Action", "The Blessings of Nature", and "In My Time of Need". For "In My Time of Need", he will be helping Saadia by getting rid of Kematu. He needs to talk to an Alik'r prisoner in Dragonsreach to learn where the assassins are located.

On the middle level of town, Davilas finds Lucia, one of the adoptable orphans in the game. He must have a dwelling with a children's bedroom before he can adopt children.

In Dragonsreach, Davilas delivers Adrianne's sword to her father, Proventus. This concludes the miscellaneous objective "Deliver the sword to Proventus Avenicci". The monetary reward is ... not that great. Proventus also has a fair amount of information about Whiterun.

Down in the Dragonsreach Dungeon, Davilas finds the Alik'r Prisoner for "In My Time of Need". When Davilas pays his fine of 100 gold to the guards, the prisoner will reveal Kematu's location: a cave named Swindler's Den to the west of Whiterun. Now, Davilas can go kill Kematu. It's amusing the way the guard treats this dirt bag.

Armed with this information, Davilas leaves town. Along the way to the west, he can also take care of the miscellaneous objective "Kill the bandit leader located at Halted Stream Camp". Halted Stream Camp is located to the north by northwest of Whiterun. He accepted this bounty in Riverwood's inn.

Halted Stream Camp is a location with a wooden fence north of Whiterun. There are some bandits protecting the exterior.

In the back of the camp, Davilas enters the Halted Stream Camp mine. When Davilas reaches Level 6, he increases his Health. He picks up the Archery perk Eagle Eye. While aiming a bow with an arrow pulled back, you can hold the Block button to zoom in. He also gets the first Stealth perk under Sneak. Stealth makes you harder to detect while sneaking.

If you have a pickaxe, you can mine the ore veins in here.

One of the bandits not far in has the Key to Halted Stream Mine, so be sure to grab it.

Davilas also chances upon a Mammoth Tusk, which he needs to give to Ysolda in Whiterun.

On the lowest level of this small dungeon, Davilas finds and kills the bandit leader. After defeating the bandit leader, the objective "Kill the bandit leader located at Halted Stream Camp" is completed. The new objective "Collect bounty from Proventus Avenicci" begins.

This cave has a boss chest to loot.

Afterwards, Davilas travels west towards Swindler's Den. Along the way, he discovers Silent Moons Camp and Dustman's Cairn. He gives these burial grounds a pass for now.

Next time, Davilas will confront Kematu at Swindler's Den.
