Some stuff I just discovered about Slash kick. Description of each clip in order.

1. Slash Kick is NOT necessarily fully invincible. It's possible to do it high enough in the air and be hit. not relevant like 99% of the time but yeah. I thought I tested this before but I guess my testing wasn't thorough enough.

For the other clips, now this is really weird stuff. Just found this out. Apparently, when you use Slash Kick, when you land, you have some invincibility frames. Like, while you can move. In clips one, I Slash Kick then jab against Diva, then I get hit by the electricity after my invincibility ends. In the second, I am able to jab two times before getting hit. In the third, I back attack. In the last, I try to back attack but get hit before the hitbox comes out.

Now here's the thing. Why did I have enough invincibility to be able to jab twice in the second example but not the first? Why was I able to get off the back attack but then not in the example that follows?

I think it's because of the height. If I do slash kick low to the ground, I am always able to get two jabs off. Higher, only enough invincibility to one. Similar for the back attack. When I tried back attack and got hit before it came out, you can see I intentionally did the slash kick higher up in the air.

What this means is that apparently the amount of invincibility Slash Kick gives you after landing depends on how high you did it. Something like that. But why? Who knows. Obviously it's not intended.

I suspected for a little while that it's like, Slash Kick is supposed to make you invincible for a certain minimum amount of time. Let's say, 35 frames. Let's say a Slash kick close to the ground is 30 frames, and a high slash kick is 60. So with this low slash kick you are invincible for 30 frames because that's how long it lasts, but because there is a minimum guaranteed amount of invincibility, you have those 5 frames leftover when you land, so you have a bit of invincibility while able to act. But that's obviously not how it works. I even just tested a jab when doing a high slash kick (When I tried back attack and it didn't come out) and the jab was able to work at that height, unlike back attack.

Anyway, how is this lingering invincibility frame stuff information useful. Well, the most obvious is that the move is even stronger defensively. Even if you have like 99% green life, you should be able to slash kick into enemies then jab and cancel immediately into defense special afterwards. Or back attack into defense special. Now, the issue is that due to how much hitstop the move has, it might be tricky, but maybe not. You can just mash the jab or back attack button at the same time as special and it seems to work out okay. I don't know. The hitstop is kinda an issue. But yeah. Need to try this out in the Turbo Mod.
