This was hell to do, honestly. The main issue is that not only are you trying to get as many points as you can, but the A.I. Catch Up is permanently enabled in this mode, even if you turn it off in the options. Which means you'll get tracks where it takes very little effort for them to get right up to you. This took over an hour and a half to get through, would've been MUCH more if I weren't using savestates. Heck.
