The Sleeping Dogs spin off, Triad Wars, has been shut down by the developers United Front. This free to play PC title had not even come out of it's closed beta state before being closed by the devs.

According to their statement, Triad Wars is being closed due to feedback from the players, and perhaps a lackluster response and sales of microtransactions.
