Sloppy Joe redefined!! | Beer, Bacon, and cheese Sloppy Joe! #shorts
This dish is something inspired by a classic, but adding Beer, Bacon, and Cheese to just make it better in every way!
The Flavors work so well together, and it’s worth making ASAP!!
Ingredients:
* 6-8 sliced of thick cut bacon, diced
* 1 small yellow onion, diced
* 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
* 2-3 tbsp tomato paste
* 1/2 cup ketchup
* 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
* 1/3 cup of beef stock/broth
* 1.5 cups sharp cheddar, cubed
* Half a can of @guinness
Instructions:
1. Start by heating a Dutch oven or cast iron skillet over medium high heat, then add your diced bacon and cook until crispy with a slight chew.
2. Then we can remove the bacon along with most of the bacon grease, and add in the diced onion. Let this cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften.
3. Then reduce the heat to a medium and toss in the ground beef and use a wooden spoon to break it down and mix with the onions. cook until it’s cooked through and browned.
4. Then add the tomato paste, ketchup, w sauce, beef stock, and Guinness. Stir well and let this cook down until it reduces and thickens up which can take 10 minutes or so.
5. Lastly, we can toss in the cubed cheddar and bacon pieces and mix one more time to make sure we get the perfect bite of very time! Top brioche buns with this mixture and enjoy!
