SlowPCGaming 01 SUPER NEAT CAT 07-09-2022
1I'm hoping this will pan out into a series of follow along tutorials. Where I can show you how I played and eventually mastered the game. It is a side scrolling platformer much like Mario Brothers but with a kitty instead of a plumber. Well maybe comparing it directly to Mario Brothers isn't correct. Perhaps a little close to Commander Keen style of game play. I'm waiting to get a hold of a wired USB controller. I had wanted to get a replacement to my original PC Gravis Ultra gamepad. Unfortunately it appears they aren't made anymore. Huge bummer.
I follow ETA Prime's YouTube channel as well as Lon Seidman who've demonstrated a suitable replacement by 8bitdo. I was also clued in to the PC edition of streaming game play from Playstation for a small-ish $15-18 monthly (cheaper if you go the quarterly route) where I could play titles from their PS 2 to PS 4 days of glory. It looks like my Slow PCs are quite capable of being used to explore a shit load of games I never bothered with. But for now I am content to explore free games off Steam.
