There is this weird notion that a gaming PC has to be made from over the top power hungry components costing way too money. Truthfully almost any computer can be used to play games. I used to play games on my Coleco Adam PC, on my Timex-Sinclair PC, on my friend's Apple 2 PC, and so forth. None of them today would be considered anything but slow or obsolete computers. But you know what? They still do what they were made to do.
