We're back again, another For Fun match, this time showing off a newcomer to Smash Bros, Xenoblade Chronicle's Shulk!

Shulk's an interesting character, his Monado Arts Neutral Special allowing him to adjust his stats, boosting some attributes while gaining some weaknesses for balance. Here I show off just about every Monado Art. Monado Jump (the green aura) saved me from death right at the start, boosting not only my jumping, but also my Air Slash Up Special's reach. Monado Buster (the purple one) ups damage, but I didn't do too well with it. Now, Monado Smash (the red one) was good, upping my launching power, enough for a back air to kill Toon Link easily. Monado Shield (yellow) kept me in the game for a bit longer too, making me heavier but harder to KO. The only one I didn't show was Monado Speed, which well...makes you go fast. Hey, I at least got off some OK Vision counters AND his Final Smash though, so that makes up for it, right?!

75m is a pretty tough stage to navigate, and thanks to a very minor change, the entire meta around it shifted completely. Back in Brawl, that platform on the upper right was longer, extending past the stage boundary (so you could walk off), and so fights naturally just ended up there. Now that it's shortened, people seem to just travel all along the stage as they fight. Good stuff!
