20Welcome to my SmashBox Arena gameplay in MIXED REALITY on the HTC Vive, while I'm beta-testing this awesome multiplayer game in VR for the first time! Smashbox Arena is a very good looking and entertaining team-based online action game in first person view, and playing this title in VR and Mixed Reality view on HTC Vive is just awesome. Smashbox Arena VR is about to be released on Steam very soon, and while its still in a development and testing stage, it actually feels like a complete game already, if you ask me. The release date of Smashbox Arena is set to sometime during december 2016, and well, lets hope we don't have to wait much longer!

The only thing I unfortunately missed in this gameplay video capture tonight, are some players to fight against. Probably I chose the wrong time of the day, because I was not able to do online multiplayer as I promised you in the beginning of this Smashbox Arena mixed reality gameplay video. I will make more videos like this of this beautiful game for you later on, as soon as I find a better day with some players online.
So what is my first impression then? Well, Smashbox Arena looks great, sounds great, feels great and the weapon system is so cool and quite unique in many ways. Its something between a FPS shooter and a sports game. The teleporting locomotion is not bad at all, and a little bit different from what you probably are used to, but I think that adds something special to the gameplay as well. Im really looking forward to play it again, and of course play the full version when its released!
