In the early hours of Friday, April 25, 2025, a rare alignment between the planets Venus, Saturn and the Moon will form a "smiling face" in the sky. Venus will be the "upper eye", Saturn the "lower eye", and the crescent Moon will create the "smile".
This phenomenon will be visible to the naked eye in several parts of the world, including Brazil, around 4 am. To observe it, look for a place with little light pollution and an unobstructed view of the eastern horizon. Binoculars or telescopes can make the experience even more impressive.
