SMITE Zeus Remodel
4Arena Mode Gameplay. Hi-Rez PLEASE fix servers lol. Although at this point maybe they finally have.
So there's quite a story behind this video, over the past few days I've been trying to record a Zeus game since he has a slightly different model now but the same kit.
However, SMITE servers were complete garbage lately with DCs, players all failing to load in, etc. It was getting absurd. To make it worse, I had another good Zeus game before this all set to upload but....Youtube kept failing to convert it SOMEHOW. So after dozens of tries on that video I gave up and recorded this game. No idea why youtube suddenly hated that one video, it's the same format/encoding I always use!!!
This game though...Wow I do NOT regret it, it was actually my best Zeus game I've ever had. Zeus is a god I've barley played. I wasn't a fan of always fighting him but he has since been nerfed. His Detonate Charge no longer stuns, it slows now. He feels underwhelming at times unless you can get off some good ultimates IMO. He's not impossible to do well with but well, when you compare him to the other Mages he is kinda lacking ATM.
Contrary to belief, I am not good at Zeus despite this performance. It definitely was my team-mates that helped me reach this and setup for my kills. My build is also not too serious, isn't Spear usually frowned upon as a bad item? Oh well, tried it anyhow..And Chronos Pendant can be better than Breastplate of Valor but seeing all the physical gods they had it worked out. It also helped the other team didn't have many escapes compared to the game where the other team was literally all Hunters with only Artemis not having a leap.
I'm also kinda sad the other game couldn't get uploaded since I did some real good Aegis timings, making an Odin+Zeus ult combo fail but oh well..This game I had a WAY higher score anyhow...
Oh and the reason I was weirded out by Tyr talking at the start is since usually your own God talks first, like in the previous game Zeus talked about punishing the other Gods or something but instead I just heard Tyr start rambling lol.
