SMOD: Redux Part 1: Not too Different

SMOD (the S is typically said to stand for Super) is a group of mods that alter the base gameplay of Half Life 2 by addition of items, weapons, abilities, set pieces and enemies. Redux is very similar to the basic SMOD which is now quite outdated and didn't run properly when I tested it. So far as I am aware this is due to the Orange Box updates but my knowledge of that is limited so feel free to correct me. Despite me saying that there is little difference in chapter 1 of SMOD the games most famous scene comes from it, those who have played it will know what it is, those who have no knowledge of SMOD will learn when it happens.
Over the course of this LP, playthrough or whatever you want to call it. I will show off the additions of this mod to the best of my ability along with some easter eggs. I will also dedicate parts to other SMOD derivatives should they have currently working versions, this includes things like SMOD: Tactical and CSS SCI-FI. I will also switch styles of commentary on different parts and try different gimmicks to change things up. The first four videos in this series will be pretty standard however. I hope you enjoy.
