Smooth and Quite Tough Metroidvania | Mendacium demo
1Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo of an upcoming game. This is Mendacium, a metroidvania, kinda soulslike, that's basically trying to be the next Hollow Knight. Visuals are good, soundtrack is pretty cool and combat feels smooth... But I feel like the main character is too weak in terms of the damage he deals, and also that knockback that your own attacks create makes combat more annoying than how it should (that added to the short dash and the contact damage made most boss fight more painful than how they should be in my opinion). I was having some fun playing it, and I honestly think there is a lot of good content here, but the boss fights and some early enemies felt painful.
